Saw the first snowfall of the year in wooded Vermont last weekend. It was lovely to head out of the city and spend some time with friends where our biggest concern was what to make for dinner. There was plenty of sitting around the fireplace and jumping into hot tubs.
We checked out Singleton's General Store in Proctorsville, VT a one-stop shop for all your Vermont-ing needs! Besides the whiskey and ammo, they have an excellent butcher and grocer section.
We took a short ride to beautiful Okemo Mountain where our patient friends tried to teach us some basic ski skills. There was a lot of rolling and shouting but it was a terrific time!
